Newlywed Elizabeth Hurley has opened up about how she met, and fell in love with hubby Arun Nayar, the man she now lovingly calls ‘Sugar Plum’ and ‘Puppy’.
In an interview with ES magazine, Hurley revealed that the two met by at a dinner hosted by mutual pal Alex Tomei. She also admits that she was a bit ‘shocked’ when Tomei told her that Nayar was half-Indian and half-German.
"When Alex Tomei first came to pick me up, I said, 'Who is this guy we are having dinner with?' He said, ' He's half-Indian and half-German,' and I thought, 'What a shocking combo!' But I quickly revised my opinion," the Daily Mail quoted her, as saying.
As to what it was about Nayar that made Liz revise her opinion so quickly, well that would be the fact that he made her feel ‘very comfortable’.
"There was something about him that made me feel very comfortable," she revealed.
It was only after their second meeting, a meal at Le Caprice, that Nayar took for her number, and asked her out on a date.
"I was a bit embarrassed, as I was 36 and it felt bizarre going on a date. But I was pleased he asked me," Hurley said.
And though they might seem poles apart on the surface, the ‘Bedazzled’ star insists that they have a lot more in common that what people think.
"The weird thing is we are very, very similar. I very much like his mother. We are both close to our families and both have very loyal friends whom we adore," she said.
Hurley, basking in the limelight of being a newlywed for the first time, admits that she knows that life will not always seem hunky-dory, and insists that she’s ready to meet any problems head on.
"I am not naive enough to think that because something is rosy today, it won't be bleak tomorrow. My life has always been massive ups and massive downs. But because I am so used to it, I feel anaesthetised against past bad times. I spend zero time thinking about them," she said.
Liz and Arun tied the knot this year with a wedding in the UK on March 3, followed by traditional Hindu ceremonies in India on March 9.
Beyonce Knowles has won a legal battle against a former business associate, after his $1.5 million lawsuit accusing the singer of shortchanging him was thrown out of court.
Greg Walker of Icon Entertainment was suing the "Irreplaceable" star for reportedly cutting him out of a $15 million fashion deal he had arranged with Knowles and her mother, Tina, in 2003.
Walker claimed Knowles failed to pay him the $25,000 for his services, which led to the creation of the singer's clothing line, House of Dereon, in 2004, reports the New York Daily News.
But Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Herman Kahn ruled that Walker never had a signed contract with Knowles, and therefore lacked a valid argument.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been left stunned by news of a plot to kidnap their newly adopted son Pax Thien, according to US reports.
Jolie's security team learned of a plot to abduct the three-year-old Vietnamese boy as the actress made plans to return to America on March 19th, according to the new issue of Life & Style magazine.
An insider close to the couple's security team tells the publication that Pitt and Jolie's publicists are playing down the threat, but reveals the kidnap plot was credible and meticulously planned by a deadly gang.
The source says, "They're highly skilled operatives with little regard for human life. Information came out that leaders of the gang ordered their LA members to devise a plan to kidnap Pax before demanding a ransom of $100million - equal to the profit from a year of drug dealing - for his safe return.
Brad and Angie would have a number of days to hand over the money or risk the boy's life."

The wide open question of who was Paris Hilton's first sexual partner has finally been answered.
According to New York Daily News, Randy Spelling, son of later TV producer Aaron Spelling, was the one who took Paris' virginity.
The news was revealed by Spelling on the A and E reality show Sons of Hollywood, which will be aired on April 1st.
Randy [Spelling] was Paris' number one, and her number 50 and number 150, the New York Daily Post quoted agent David Weintraub, as saying.

London, Mar 28 (ANI): British beauty Elizabeth Hurley may be able to give a woman half her age a run for her money, but it seems that the lack of cash flowing in has caused fashion label Monsoon to drop her as their face.
Hurley signed a six-month deal worth a million pounds with Monsoon, but with half of the period over, it seems that the contract will not be renewed in June thanks to poor sales that dominated the company's accounts, despite their Create A Storm ad campaign starring the stunning 41-year old.
A source revealed that Monsoon bosses are now thinking about substituting Liz with someone younger and a bit more boho-chic, especially since their target market is 18-to-35s.
The label has started investigating possible replacements for Liz. We had a disappointing period before Christmas and hoped that signing Liz would improve the figures. Eminem is applying for a legal gagging order to stop his ex-wife Kim Mathers from "bad mouthing" him.
The rapper - real name Marshall Mathers - will appear in Detroit's Macomb Circuit Court to apply for the order.

Kim has publicly accused the rapper of "slacking very much" with regard to his parental responsibilities and claims there is "nothing positive" between him and Hailie.

NEW YORK (March 22) - In an e-mail sent after the death of her son, Daniel, Anna Nicole Smith said that she wanted to die.
According to a report from "Entertainment Tonight," Smith's friends say they received an e-mail dated Oct. 8, 2006, that said, "I just wish I could be going thru good times now. I miss him. I want to die!"
Sources tell the entertainment show that Smith's companion, Howard K Stern, has cooperated with authorities and has given them permission to look at a computer, which they are examining.
The cause of the model's death has not yet been announced by the Florida Medical Examiner's office.
The medical examiner's findings have been delayed because of additional evidence.
CBS News has learned that the results of the autopsy could be announced early next week.
On Feb. 9, investigators said that they found prescription medicines but no illegal drugs in Smith's hotel room.
The medical examiner ruled out any types of physical injury such as gunshot wound, asphyxiation or blunt trauma on the body.
Meanwhile, the paternity suit involving Smith's infant daughter continues. On Tuesday a Bahamian judge ordered that a DNA test be performed on Dannielynn to identify her father.

Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty is to be the new face of Marks & Spencer.
The Bollywood beauty, who was the victim of alleged racial abuse during the Channel Four show in January, attended a shoot for the high street giant's Autumn/Winter 2007 collection on Tuesday in west London.
Shilpa was spotted going to the studio on Kensal Road with television presenter Gaby Roslin, who will also be launching the new range later this year. The pair met up with three other models.
A source said: "Shilpa spent the day at a shoot, she spent the morning having lots of clothes fitted on her so that they look amazing for the advertising campaigns.
"She is perfect for the role. She is gorgeous and has a great personality but, above all, the British public love her."
The contract is thought to be worth in the region of £150,000 in the first instance but if she increases sales significantly she maybe re-signed for the next campaign.
"Shilpa is delighted, she went into the Big Brother house to get herself some exposure in Britain, so she couldn't have asked for things to have turned out better for her," our source said.
"She is still talking to a number of film producers about acting roles, but to be the face of such a popular store is an amazing gig for her."
M&S, which has an outlet on practically every high street in Britain, two years ago signed up Sixties model Twiggy to front their campaign.
Bosses have since watched their sales go up and up, and they are thought to want to keep her but bring in Shilpa alongside to appeal to the younger market.

Shilpa, 31, arrived in the UK in January to take part in reality TV series Celebrity Big Brother along with a number of low-rent celebrities.

Singer Britney Spears has been granted a High Court injunction preventing the British press from printing allegations about her recent stay in rehab.
The order is directed at those deemed responsible for leaking details about Ms Spears' stay at a US clinic.
The pop star "intends to challenge false allegations that have already been published," a statement from her London lawyers said.
The 25-year-old left a California treatment centre earlier this week.
'False allegations'
Ms Spears' legal representatives are also applying for an additional court order requiring UK publications to disclose the sources of their stories detailing her one-month programme at the Promises clinic in Malibu.
Media outlets are being served the injunction "so as to assist them in not making the mistake of carrying out such further disclosures if approached by this person," the legal statement continued.
Ms Spears has already mounted a legal challenge concerning "false allegations" which have already been diseminated.
The 25-year-old's manager, Larry Rudolph, asked the press to respect her privacy when she left the facility.
The Promises clinic's website states it is one of the world's leading centres for "inpatient treatment to alcoholics and addicts hooked on prescription or illegal drugs".
Ms Spears entered the clinic on 22 February after sparking concerns amongst fans when she shaved her head in public.
NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) -- A Bahamian judge ordered a DNA test Tuesday on Anna Nicole Smith's infant daughter to identify the girl's father, an attorney for the baby's grandmother said.
The result could end a bitter custody feud sparked by the death of the former reality TV star last month.
Larry Birkhead, an ex-boyfriend of the Playboy playmate who asked the judge to order the test on 6-month-old Dannielynn, pumped his fists in the air and jumped up and down as he emerged from the private court hearing.
"It's been a good day in court for me," he told reporters. Asked if he thought he would see the girl soon, he only smiled and winked.
Deborah Rose, an attorney for Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, confirmed that the judge ordered the test but she and others who attended the hearing declined to describe the proceedings.
Authorities left the building after the hearing and could not immediately be reached for comment.
Smith's most recent companion, Howard K. Stern, who is listed as the father on the girl's birth certificate, left the courthouse in a black sport utility vehicle as Birkhead greeted a crowd of cheering tourists.
Smith, 39, died February 8 after collapsing in a Florida hotel. Authorities have not disclosed the cause.
Stern has been caring for the girl in the gated, waterfront home where he lived with Smith in the months before she died. The Bahamian courts have ordered Stern not to leave the country with the girl before a custody ruling.
Arthur wants to take Dannielynn from Stern, arguing she could provide a more stable home. She did not speak as she exited the courthouse and left in a white limousine.
The girl, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, could inherit millions from the estate of Smith's late husband, Texas oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II. Smith had been fighting his family over his estimated $500 million fortune since his death in 1995.
Frederic von Anhalt, the husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor, also says he may be Dannielynn's father. Last month, he also filed legal documents seeking a DNA test to determine if he is the father.
LOS ANGELES: Keanu Reeves, star of The Matrix blockbuster action movies, grazed a photographer with his car while pulling out of a parking space in a southern California community, police said.
The incident took place just before 7.30pm on Monday evening in Rancho Palos Verdes, said a Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy.
"(The photographer) was standing in the street in front of Mr Reeves' 1996 Porsche when he was grazed by the car," said Deputy Sheriff Oscar Butao.
Police are investigating the incident, Butao said.
The extent of the photographer's injuries were unknown, Butao said. Reeves was not hurt.
Reeves, 42, is best known for his role as the hero, Neo, of The Matrix movies in which Earth has been overrun by machines and humans are trying to reclaim the planet.
The three films in the series include 1999's The Matrix and sequels The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, which both were released in 2003.
Combined, the trio grossed raked in more than $US1.6 billion in worldwide ticket sales.

Israeli leader asks the actor for help
Leonardo DiCaprio's reputation as an activist has reached as far as the Middle East: On his recent trip to Israel, he was asked to help promote environmental conservation and peace in the region, PEOPLE has learned.
Israeli Vice Premier and former Prime Minister Shimon Peres requested a meeting with DiCaprio, 32, within hours of the actor's March 11 arrival in Tel Aviv with his Israeli girlfriend, model Bar Refaeli, 21, a Peres aide tells PEOPLE.
"The meeting was pleasant and interesting," says the aide. "Shimon told Leo about his Peace Valley project [a joint Israeli-Jordanian-Palestinian economic development plan] and Leo spoke about [11th Hour,] his documentary on the environment."
The aide says Peres asked DiCaprio to help promote the stalled Middle East peace process and to further campaign for protecting the environment globally. According to the source, DiCaprio promised to help on both issues.
Reps for DiCaprio confirmed the meeting but had no further comment.
Meanwhile, Israeli police said Thursday they were deciding whether to charge two bodyguards in a scuffle with photographers during DiCaprio's visit to a holy site on his second day in the country.
According to the Associated Press, three photographers were injured on March 12 as DiCaprio, Refaeli and Refaeli's family toured a tunnel near Jerusalem's Western Wall. DiCaprio's rep, Shawn Sachs, told the AP the photographers were to blame. "Leo is horrified that anyone might have gotten hurt in this situation, but the paparazzi really made this happen," he said.
Later in the week, DiCaprio was able to escape the paparazzi and take a quiet trip to Galilee in northern Israel. The actor, on his first visit to the country, stayed at Refaeli's family's home in suburban Tel Aviv, where he struck up a friendship with Refaeli's 10-year-old brother, On, the boy told Israeli TV.
DiCaprio left Israel on Thursday, after an emotional airport goodbye from Refaeli. "They were hugging and kissing until the last minute when he had to go on the plane," a witness tells PEOPLE. "It looked liked it was really hard for them to stay apart."
Jessica Alba is getting married four times this year - on the big screen.
The actress is getting used to walking down the aisle because she plays a bride in four movies.
Jessica said: "I'm getting pretty good at the whole wedding thing. I seem to be getting married a lot this year. The best one for me is Fantastic Four 2 . It's on the top of a building and, although it was freezing up there, it was the closest to my own dream wedding."
Jessica, 25, was previously engaged to Dark Angel co-star Michael Weatherly, and is now dating movie producer Cash Warren.
Jessica and Cash met while filming Fantastic Four - on which Cash worked as director's assistant.
Jessica has also revealed she can't wait to start a family.
She said: "I'm really girly when it comes to kids. I've been surrounded by children my whole life because I'm the oldest of 15 cousins - I've been changing diapers since I was six. I want to have a couple, for sure."
Uma Thurman and hotelier Andre Balazs have ended their three-year, on-again, off-again relationship, her rep, Robert Garlock, tells PEOPLE.
"I will confirm that they are no longer a couple," Garlock said Monday, the day after a source close to the actress told PEOPLE the pair had split.
The breakup of Thurman, 36, and Balazs, 50 – who had begun dating in late 2003 – takes place amid rumors that the couple were planning to wed in the Caribbean this summer.
Just over a year ago, after Thurman appeared solo at the 2006 Oscars, the Kill Bill actress said in a statement that she and Balazs – who owns such properties as New York City's Mercer Hotel and the Chateau Marmont and the Standard in Los Angeles – had split.
"Unfortunately, it is true," she said in the March 8, 2006, statement. "But we remain close friends."
By last fall, however, the two were again more than just friends, and were seen together everywhere from Copenhagen to New York City – which Thurman and her two children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke call home.
Thurman and Hawke were together for six years, until she filed for divorce in 2003.
Thurman is currently filming The Accidental Husband, in which she stars as a talk-radio host who gets into trouble after dishing out love advice.
Angelina Jolie has apologised for bringing the glare of publicity onto her newly adopted Vietnamese son.
Speaking in an interview with Ho Chi Minh City newspaper Phap Luat, Jolie said: "I want to say sorry for bringing this into Pax's life."
The three-year-old boy has been renamed Pax Thien, the Latin for peace and Vietnamese word for heaven.
The film star added she would stay at home to help the boy, who speaks no English, settle into his new life.
'Most important thing'
"We have to learn to adapt to each other and study each other's languages," Jolie told the newspaper.
"I have four children, and caring for them is the most important thing for me now," added the 31-year-old Oscar winner.
Jolie has already adopted two children, from Cambodia and Ethiopia, and last year she gave birth to a daughter, Shiloh, with actor partner Brad Pitt.
The actress, a United Nations goodwill ambassador, vowed to pay regular visits to Vietnam.
"To the best of my ability, I want to understand more about your country and see what I can do to help," she said.
MADONNA is moving her family from London to New York to be closer to her ailing dad as he fights cancer.
The Queen Of Pop, who now lives almost permanently in the UK, has already been Stateside to see Tony Ciccone twice this year.
Her fears for his deteriorating health have forced her to uproot the family from London and plan for them to spend much more time in the US.
Her film director hubby GUY RITCHIE has been busy working in LA and she is now trying to find a new family home in New York.
A source said: “Madonna, Guy and the kids are definitely moving to New York this year.
“The deal is to spend as much time there as in London — if not more.
“Guy hasn’t been as keen on the idea but Madonna is insisting they are moving.”
Madonna’s dad has been receiving treatment for colon cancer in Leelanau County Hospital, Michigan, which is relatively close to New York.
Recent reports suggested he was making good progress — but Madge fears he is putting on a brave face to benefit family and friends.
My source told me: “Madonna’s dad is going through the mill and she wants to be there for him and to help his spirits by letting him see more of his grandchildren.
“Guy is working more and more in LA on his new TV show, a film project and a documentary.
“The move will be a big upheaval but Madonna needs to be near her dad and the support network of her closest friends.”
Madge is also cracking on with a new album, with the work split between Los Angeles and London.
She decided it would make sense to be based on the East Coast in The Big Apple, splitting the distance between her US commitments.
But she will not be selling her current New York apartment, London house or her Wiltshire estate any time soon.
She has decided the NY pad isn’t big enough for the whole family since the adoption of one-year-old Malawi tot David Banda.
I can reveal Madge has narrowed the search for a new house down to two properties.
One is a flat and the other an impressive townhouse — what they do have in common is an asking price of more than £20m.
And she has made it clear the new place is HER buy and will be in HER name — without any mention of Guy.

Looks like Britney Spears has become a Coke fiend. Not that other kind of coke.
The pop princess has been drinking 24 cans of Coca-Cola a day, according to Star.
What’s more, the “Toxic” singer hasn’t been an ideal patient, according to the tab.
“Britney has a seriously bad attitude problem,” an “insider” tells Star. “She’s been very demanding; acts like a 12-year-old and throws temper tantrums when she doesn’t get what she wants!
“She refuses to pick up after herself and even asked if she could hire a maid!” adds the source. “She’s asking for this and that, special food, special everything ... and she’s not that nice to anyone.”
It’s likely that Spears is acting out, reports that mag, because she feels she doesn’t belong in rehab in the first place.
“I heard she keeps saying she is just sick from postpartum depression and that she does not have any real addiction problem, which is a joke,” the source tells the mag. “She has an addiction.”
Christina Aguilera feels more empowered by her sexuality now she is in her 20s.
The 26-year-old singer says she is no longer the innocent girl who broke onto the music scene with hit single Genie In A Bottle in 1999.

Angelina Jolie is a proud new mom once again, now that her adoption of a 3-year-old Vietnamese boy is official, Jolie's rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
The boy's name is Pax Thien Jolie, born in November 2003, according to the orphanage where he has lived. His name means Peaceful Sky – Pax is peace in Latin and Thien is sky in Vietnamese.
Jolie's rep says she took custody of the child on Thursday in Vietnam. They will remain in the country for about a week while the child's American passport is processed, the rep says.
The boy had been living at the Tam Binh orphanage outside Ho Chi Minh City ever since he was abandoned at a hospital as a baby, according to adoption officials. Shortly after he arrived at the facility, staff attempted to locate his birth parents, but to no avail.
Jolie went to the orphanage Thursday morning with her 5-year-old son Maddox, whom she adopted in Cambodia in 2002. Jolie's companion Brad Pitt did not accompany them to Vietnam.
"Brad very much wanted to be there but is under contract working on a film in Los Angeles and as a result couldn't go," Trevor Neilson, Jolie's adviser on international affairs, tells PEOPLE.
About two dozen children in traditional ao dai formal garb greeted them and offered flowers at the orphanage. Jolie left carrying the boy to a waiting van.
"He is in good health," orphanage director Nguyen Van Trung told the Associated Press, adding that the boy gets along with the other children and likes playing soccer. "He is a little bit shy."
Trung also said Jolie's adoption was swiftly processed because the boy is older and his files were already nearly complete.
Because Vietnamese law makes it difficult for unmarried couples to adopt, Jolie applied solo – but she and Pitt together will welcome their new Vietnamese child to their family, which along with Maddox includes Zahara, 2, and 10-month-old Shiloh. The adoption was a "process that began shortly after Shiloh was born [in May]," a source told PEOPLE in a recent cover story.
As for why Vietnam was selected in the first place, Jolie has traveled extensively in Southeast Asia and has visited the country at least twice – including, with Pitt, last Thanksgiving.

Troubled pop star Britney Spears has been suffering from bulimia since she was 16 years old, according to US reports.
The Toxic star reportedly told doctors at rehab facility Promises in Malibu, California about her eating disorder after she was forced to examine her unhealthy lifestyle.
A source also tells American publication the Star the 25-year-old has been diagnosed with mental health problem bipolar disorder - manic depression - but her eating disorder is hampering her recovery.
The source explains, "She is on medication for bipolar disorder, but the pills are not staying in her system because she is bulimic and is throwing them up before they can help her."
"(In the past) she'd pig out on junk food, chips, candy, cola and ice cream, and then she'd feel so guilty, she'd make herself throw up. The only thing that made her stop was when she got pregnant."
Naomi Campbell has taken up yoga in the hope of soothing her temper. The model believes meditation and relaxation will help her to manage her angry outbursts. "It's part of a recovery," she told a U.S. newspaper. "I'm trying to stay at a peaceful place inside.
Next week Miss Campbell, 36, will be sweeping floors at a New York car park building as punishment for throwing a mobile phone at her maid, leaving her head badly cut. She was fined £185 and sentenced to five days community service after admitting assault in January. According to Hollywood.com, the show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, revealed that he’s currently scripting a role for the pop megastar.
Murphy stated that the ideal situation would see Madonna play opposite her former co-star and friend, Rosie O’Donnell. Rosie has become a regular on the show after making headlines for a sex scene she filmed with Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon last season.

While Britney Spears remained in rehab, Kevin Federline headed to Las Vegas over the weekend – with the kids.
Federline was in town for a long-planned paid appearance at the Mirage Hotel & Casino lounge Revolution, sources tell PEOPLE.
"Kevin was really low-key," one source says. "You could definitely tell he was on his best behavior. He was having a good time, but wasn't the wild, crazy Kevin who used to come to Vegas."
Federline also plans to return to Las Vegas on March 24 to celebrate his 29th birthday at Pure Nightclub, PEOPLE has learned.
In his latest trip, he arrived on Saturday with Sean Preston, 18 months, and Jayden James, 6 months, plus a nanny, his mother and brother and two bodyguards, sources say.
He had dinner with friends and family at the hotel's Japonais restaurant, says a source, who adds: "He was late for dinner because he wanted to tuck his kids into bed."
By midnight, he was relaxing at a VIP table at the Revolution with a group of friends who included Las Vegas comedian Jeff Beacher.
Spears's rehab ordeal, says a source, has matured Federline.
"He wakes up with a purpose each morning and has enjoyed his family being around him," says the source.
Johnny Depp’s 7-year-old daughter, Lily-Rose, is on the mend after a 9-day stay at a British hospital where she was battling an undisclosed illness. She left the hospital with her family at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
“We are happy to report that their daughter is doing much better,” Depp’s rep tells Us. “The family greatly appreciates the continued support and respect of their privacy.”
According to the U.K. publication The Sun, Depp, 43, and his partner Vanessa Paradis, 34, had been holding vigil for their daughter since she checked into the hospital a week and a half ago in “serious condition.”
The Pirates of the Caribbean star -- who lives in France with Lily-Rose, Vanessa, and their four-year-old son Jack -- was due to start filming Sweeney Todd in England when his daughter fell ill.
A hospital source tells The Sun: “They are worried sick -- but Lily-Rose is getting the very best treatment available.”
“Johnny is deeply concerned about his daughter," a studio source added. "As soon as he heard that she is unwell he went to her bedside. He will do anything for his kids.”
To protect the family’s privacy, publications are being asked not to publish the nature of the illness or the location of the hospital.

9 March 2007 (Bang) - Carmen Electra has been snubbed by the bosses of the 'Baywatch' movie.
The sexy model-and-actress, who shot to fame in the hit lifeguard drama, has not been offered a cameo in the big screen adaptation of the hit TV show.
Carmen - who starred in the US series alongside David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson - said: "I'm out. I've only heard about it through the press and nobody has contacted me to be in the film.
"I really enjoyed the reunion show we did though - it was fun to meet all the team again."
Although Carmen, 34, has been overlooked for the film, Pamela has reportedly been offered a cameo role.
The blonde actress, who played lifeguard C.J. Parker in the series, will make a guest appearance in the movie adaptation which will star a younger crop of beauties instead of the original cast.
Producer Eli Roth said: "Pammie will do a cameo in the movie. But for the main cast, they want to go with a new crop of hotties. The other producers spoke to Pamela about it and she said she'd love to do a cameo. For me it wouldn't be 'Baywatch' without her"

The mystery of Anna Nicole Smith’s untimely death may be solved soon. Somewhere in this world, there exists a guy who knows what killed the Playboy playmate on February 8th, 2007. But that someone won’t be kissing and telling for at least another one week.
The office of Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper said Wednesday that the doctor has determined the cause of Smith’s death but will not be releasing his report until Florida police have completed their own investigation into the matter - which could take anywhere from one to several more weeks.
Perper was the one who autopsied Anna Nicole, and was one of the key proponents of having her body embalmed sooner rather than later. Perper said he wants to make sure his findings have no bearing on the police investigation.
The blonde bombshell was found unconscious in her room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on February 8th; and hours later, proclaimed dead. The death certificate issued by Perper last Wednesday lists the cause of death as pending.
The cause of death could be anything from pneumonia to lupus to methadone use to any number of fatal drug cocktails. According to pathologist Cyril Wecht (who autopsied Anna’s son Daniel), one can rule out methadone (which was found in Daniel’s body). However he does not rule out use of other drugs.
Wecht said:
It is possible that there may have been other drugs involved, any combination she was taking, she was ill.
Celebrity-dirt site TMZ.com reported on Tuesday that Anna’s bodyguard Big Moe, told the Seminole Police Department that Smith was on “heavy doses” of prescription drugs and antibiotics the day she died.
The National Enquirer reported a week ago that Smith was suffering from a severe case of pneumonia when she died.
When will all this end? Anna Nicole once posed as the illustrious Marilyn Monroe. Now, in death, she really is turning into her.
