Jennifer Aniston will reportedly take centrestage at the Oscar ceremony, where her ex-husband Brad Pitt and his girlfriend Angelina Jolie will also be present as they have been nominated in the the best actor and actress category.
"Jen will own the night. Brad and Angie might be nominated, but Los Angeles is Jen's town," said a friend in a press statement.
Pitt is nominated in the best actor category for his performance in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", while Jolie is nominated for the best actress for "Changeling".
And Aniston is invited to present an award at the gala event that will take place Feb 22.
"She was a good girl and pulled back during the Golden Globes even though she had the hottest movie out 'Marley and Me'. And at the time of the Oscars, the movie is likely to be at the top of the box office," added the friend.
The former "Friends" star had recently slammed Jolie by calling her "uncool" in an interview with Vogue.
Jennifer's boyfriend John Mayer has also been persuading her to take on Pitt and Jolie at Hollywood's hottest night of the year.
John reportedly said: "You've got to go. Why do you hide in this town? You have every reason to be there.
By presenting at the Oscars, you'll tell the world: 'I don't care about Brad and Angie. I belong here, too.'"
Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin has jokingly described his onscreen kiss with Jennifer Aniston on the hit American show 30 Rock as painful.
The The Marrying Man actor revealed that the experience was not as enjoyable he had expected it to be.
It was painful. I mean, every man who’’s had to make out with her in TV and movies - I don”t know how they do it! The Sun quoted Baldwin, as saying jokingly.
Baldwin was also asked whether he believed the 30 Rock episodes suggestion that crazy women are better in bed.
He added: That’’s assuming I”ve been with crazy women. If I answer that question in the affirmative, that would type a woman I”ve been with as being crazy, which I don”t really feel like doing. But I hear it’’s true. I hear from my friends it’’s true.
Alec laughed: I will say this on the record - I”ve never slept with a crazy man!
Jennifer Aniston has branded love rival Angelina Jolie “uncool” following the actress’s admission she fell in love with current partner Brad Pitt when he was still married to the former Friends star.
Jolie recently revealed she and Pitt “fell in love” on the set of 2004 movie Mr and Mrs Smith, a whole year before Pitt and Aniston divorced.
The quote contradicted their previous claims they only hooked up after the split was made formal.
And it has prompted Aniston to break her long silence on the subject, in an interview with the December 2008 issue of Vogue magazine. What Angelina did was very uncool.
The 39-year-old says, “What Angelina did was very uncool.” Just last year, Jolie offered to meet Aniston in her own interview with the magazine. She said at the time, “If she wanted to (meet) then I would be open to it.”
HOLLYWOOD - Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have decided to part ways, following weeks of speculation the couple's relationship was on the rocks.
The couple began dating in June 2005 during the making of hit comedy The Break-Up, and despite refusing to go public with their relationship, it was alleged the pair were planning to wed.
However, there have been rumors in recent weeks that their relationship was cooling off. Vaughn, 36, has been filming Fred Claus in London since late September, while Aniston, 37, has been busy filming in Los Angeles and New York City.
In October, Vaughn threatened to sue several tabloid newspapers after it was alleged he was seen kissing a mystery blonde in the British capital.
The pair's representatives, Stephen Huvane and John Pisani, told People magazine, "After Jennifer's trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship, but continue to be good friends today."
